The BG20 has been specifically designed to modernise and improve the inspection routine of large calibre barrels.

BG20 System offers the following operations:

• The BG20 system is calibrated against a removable gauge (supplied), of known dimension, to provide the system with an accurate known reference bore.
• The sensing head may then be introduced into the barrel from either breech or muzzle end of the barrel and the measuring head located anywhere along its length.
• The operator may select the gauge to operate in either normal or ovality mode.
• The gauge automatically calculates the average bore dia. - The dimensions taken may be observed on the display panel.
• The printout can be taken thru thermal printer or connected to the PC, for downloading the data from BG20 system memory.
• The system is made versatile by means of an interchangeable feeder tube, thus allowing each gauge to measure a wide range of barrel types from 20-155 mm in diameter.
