The Linear Accelerator enables radiographic examination of elements made of steel, castiron, complex metal, alloys, and light materials as plastic.The equipment provides means of testing of welds by determining the size and degree of defects in welds (precise) indication of defective joints), as well as examination of casting material and semi finished products showing to compact construction, tight head housing and small overall dimensions , the lillyput is highly suitable for radiographic testing for field type investigations especially.

Basic specifications:

  • Nominal energy of accelerated electrons: 6mev/9mev
  • Pulse width: pulse repetition frequency : option (50,200 hz) 200 - 300hz/
  • E/X conversion target: tungston beam diameter on the target: collimator cone angle: 28 deg.
  • Irradiation field diameter in a plane: spaced 1 m from target: 50 cm
  • Max. Dose rate 1 m away from target: 10gy/min : ( 1.00 dr/min )
  • The flattering filter is delivered for a special order irradiation field, dose homogeneities depending on flattening filter as follows: +/- 10%, 15%.
  • Equipment is provided with the laser beam pointer head weight: 500 kg.

External supplies:

  • Electric supply: three phase a.c mains 220/380 v +/- 1%, 15kva, 50hz.
  • Cooling system : primary circuit municipal water 12 l/min. With characterist ics corresponding to drinking water.
  • Water temperature:< 20 deg. Centigrade
  • Inlet pressure 0.35, 0.5 mp epsilon

Optional:

Lifting device: the following devices are necessary for installation and maintenance.

  • Wall cranewith geared trolly type chain block.
  • Hook hanging from ceiling.
